New York / Berlin, November 21, 2012 — With its online charity auction, Heal the World through a Piece of Art, LUMAS would like to set an example and help those people affected by natural disasters and wars which cause untold suffering and misery around the world. In partnership with artnet Auctions, LUMAS is auctioning 16 sold-out pieces from the LUMAS portfolio. LUMAS will donate 100% of the proceeds to three established and trusted charity organizations to ease the suffering caused by Hurricane Sandy (American Red Cross), the civil war in Syria (UNICEF), and the war in the Nuba Mountains in Sudan (Cap Anamour).

The 16 works included in the sale are among the most sought after, sold-out works from the portfolio. Each work offered will be the last number in the edition. Included among the works are prints by Joseph Beuys, Wolfgang Joop, Michel Comte, and Robert Lebeck.

LUMAS CHARITY AUCTION: Heal the World through Art is live on artnet Auctions from November 21 to 28 at http://www.artnet.com/auctions/lumas-charity-sale.
