Malvern House London is busy celebrating the success of its new faces, those recent students whose enthusiasm for studying English language and business skills in the UK has helped them reach their goals in education and achieve new levels of social confidence.
This year the Malvern House photobooth project, saw students from many nationalities attend Kings Cross Library in London for a professional photoshoot celebrating them and their successful studies. Malvern House College London educates over 6,000 international students from 100 countries each year. The photobooth project was an exciting way for students to learn about photography and practise their English language writing skills. As well as having their photographs taken by a professional photographer, students from countries across the world were asked to provide written testimonials to explain their student experience at Malvern House London. Many of the students who took part in the project will now become the new faces of Malvern House and future students who are interested in studying at Malvern House will be able to read about their experiences on the college website.
Students participating in the photobooth project were keen to share their experiences of the high quality of teaching at Malvern House. Many were studying courses such as basic English or business English, to complement their business studies or university foundation courses. Some had already recieved offers to study at British universities and were looking forward to studying for a degree or a masters degree in the UK. They attributed their success to the high level of support they received from Malvern House college and its enthusiastic staff. Students from different cultures were keen to write about the popular social programme offered by Malvern House, which encourages students to make friends and to practise their English language skills in a social environment. The programme is centered around visits to London tourist attractions, popular places, and exciting activities to ensure that international students have the opportunity to use their new English language conversation skills and improve their confidence. For English courses London could not be a better city in which to study. Excellence in teaching and learning is an essential part of the preparation for university study in the UK but equally important is the confidence that comes from practising language and social skills. This combination ensures that Malvern House can offer fantastic support to international students with high ambitions and the goal of securing a place at a UK university.
